FAQ

Questions we get first

Can you review a bid we already have?

Yes — a second-opinion review is the most common first engagement. We rebuild the breakdown independently, then show you line by line where the two models disagree and why.

Have you worked client-side or studio-side?

Both, which is the point. Seventeen years split between production companies and VFX facilities means the bid gets read the way the other side will read it before it ever leaves your building.

Do you work per project or on a retainer?

Both. A single bid or budget is a fixed-fee piece of work; episodic, slate bidding and outsource desks run monthly for as long as the show needs a production desk.

Do you take a cut of vendor spend?

No. We are paid by you, so the advice on where work should go stays honest.

Which regions do you place work in?

Vendor relationships across North America, Europe and India. Placement follows schedule, security requirements and the tax-incentive position — not habit.

Can you work inside our pipeline and tools?

Yes. We work in your Autodesk Flow (ShotGrid), ftrack or Jira instance, your budgeting templates and your reporting cadence rather than importing ours.

Have a script and a number that don't agree yet?

Send the breakdown. We will tell you what it really costs.
